Dental Protection

It’s critical to realize that the agreement between the insurance company and you, your employer, or both governs your dental insurance coverage. That agreement does not apply to our office. The chosen treatments and acceptable costs are determined, not by your dentist, but rather by the cost of the coverage to your employer and the agreed terms with the dental insurance provider.

Your dental insurance is not dependent on what you need or what your doctor advises. It is determined by the amount your company contributes to the plan. Employers often pay a portion of their workers’ dental expenses, but not all of them. Inform your company if you are not happy with the insurance coverage it offers.

Being a PPO provider, we don’t work with any HMOs. We suggest contacting your insurance provider if you have any queries regarding the sort of insurance you have. The difference between our costs and those specified by the insurance carrier is paid when a dental clinic is regarded as a participating provider or “in network.” If you visit a supplier who is “out of network,” you can be liable for the price difference.

Dentemax offers price schedules for more than 150 insurance companies. We are regarded as “in-network” for all carriers utilizing their specific cost structure since we cooperate with Dentemax. If your specific policy adheres to the Dentemax pricing schedule, your insurance provider or your human resources department should be able to let you know.

Using data from your insurance provider, we try our best to provide you the most accurate estimate we can, but this estimate is subject to final insurance company approval and may alter. No of the extent of your insurance coverage, you are still liable for the costs incurred by our office. Each visit will begin with the collection of the anticipated co-payments and any applicable deductible, which are all payable at the time of treatment.

Davis Dental Group will, as a courtesy, file a claim with your main insurance provider for the services provided. You are responsible for paying any percentage of your bill that is not covered by insurance. Please be aware that you are now responsible for any claim that is not paid within forty-five (45) days. Any modifications to your insurance policy must be communicated to us immediately. We encourage you to express any questions you may have about our policy.

Please be aware that payment is expected at the time service is provided.
